Prices checked: October 2026 · Written by the DevelopPrism team
Website cost in Dubai depends on the pages, functions, content and ongoing services you need. DevelopPrism's complete website packages start from AED 3,500 for Starter and AED 8,500 for Business, excluding VAT; ecommerce starts from AED 15,000. The supplier ranges below are market reference points, not our fixed quotes. Use this guide to separate build costs from running costs, compare the same scope and prepare a brief for an itemised proposal.

How we priced this
The figures combine DevelopPrism’s published AED packages with the market sources cited in this guide. Supplier ranges depend on scope and are reference points, not fixed quotations. Your written proposal confirms the deliverables and total cost.
Typical website prices in Dubai
Published UAE pricing guides put most projects in these bands:

The spread is wide because the same label hides very different work. A "five-page website" built from a template with your copy pasted in is not the same project as five pages designed from scratch, written for search and tested on every device.
What a website costs at DevelopPrism
These published starting prices cover complete website packages, not design-only fees. Choose the page count and functions you need before comparing totals; the written quote confirms scope, exclusions and timing:
- Starter – AED 3,500: up to 5 WordPress pages, mobile-ready, WhatsApp or contact form, basic SEO, delivered in 3 weeks.
- Business – AED 8,500: up to 12 pages, custom design, blog, on-page SEO with schema, GA4 and speed optimisation, delivered in 4–6 weeks.
- Ecommerce – from AED 15,000: up to 100 products on WooCommerce or Shopify, UAE payment gateways (Telr, Network International, Tabby) and shipping setup.
- Custom portal – from AED 30,000: quoted per project.
All prices exclude VAT. Use our complete website planning and package guide to decide which route fits your business, then check the current inclusions on the pricing page. A five-page service site, an online store and a customer portal need different briefs; the starting price alone does not define the work.
What changes the price of a website
Number of pages and templates
More pages mean more design and content work, but templates matter more than page count. Ten service pages that share one layout cost far less than ten pages that each need a unique design.
Custom design vs template
A template is quicker and cheaper; a custom design fits your brand and conversion goals more precisely. Most mid-range sites use a custom design built on a flexible framework such as WordPress.
Content and copywriting
Who writes the copy is one of the biggest hidden variables. If the agency writes and optimises your service pages, expect it in the price. If you supply copy, check what format and deadline they need.
Arabic and bilingual sites
Plan the pages required in each language, approved translations and right-to-left layouts before requesting a quote. DevelopPrism's published Arabic website version add-on is 35% of the website price. Confirm the language scope and who supplies and approves translated content; do not assume every page or translation service is included.
Integrations and features
Booking systems, CRMs, payment gateways, member areas and product configurators all add development and testing time. Each one should appear as a line in your quote. See what website development and integrations includes when defining those functions.
Ongoing costs to budget for
The build fee is only part of the cost of running a website:
- Domain and hosting: request the registration, renewal and hosting costs for your chosen providers.
- Maintenance: DevelopPrism's published Basic and Priority plans cost AED 400 and AED 1,000 a month respectively. Check the inclusions before choosing ongoing support.
- Plugins and subscriptions: confirm any WordPress licences, Shopify plan, apps or other paid services required for the agreed functions.
- Content and SEO: clarify whether updates or ongoing marketing are separate work. A website build and a recurring service are different commitments.
Make sure the domain, hosting and site files are registered in your business's name, not the agency's.
After launch, include ongoing website maintenance in the plan for updates, backups and security checks.
For product and category visibility, include ecommerce SEO alongside the store build and content plan.
How to compare website quotes
- Send every agency the same brief: pages, features, languages and who supplies content.
- Ask for an itemised quote, not a single total.
- Check what's excluded, copywriting, images, Arabic, hosting, plugins.
- Ask how many revision rounds are included.
- Confirm delivery time and what you need to provide, and when.
- Ask who owns the domain, code and accounts at handover.
- Look at live sites they've built and check them on your phone.
For a useful quote, describe the business, the action visitors should take, your required pages and functions, language versions, content readiness, budget range and preferred launch date. If you have a site, include its URL and what should be kept or changed. Discuss your website brief once those requirements are outlined; missing items can be identified before a scope is agreed.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a 1-page website cost in Dubai?
A single landing page usually costs between AED 1,000 and AED 5,000, depending on whether it's built from a template or designed from scratch, and whether it includes copywriting and conversion tracking. For campaign landing pages, see our landing page design service.
Is WordPress or Shopify cheaper?
Neither platform is automatically cheaper for the same requirements. DevelopPrism's Ecommerce package starts from AED 15,000 for WooCommerce or Shopify with up to one hundred products, excluding VAT. Compare platform subscriptions, hosting, apps, maintenance and integration needs as well as the build quote. For a service website rather than a store, the published Starter package uses WordPress. Review the WooCommerce and Shopify selection guidance before choosing.
Why are freelancers so much cheaper than agencies?
Freelancers have lower overheads and often use templates, which suits simple sites well. Agencies charge more because a team covers design, development, content, SEO and testing, and remains accountable after launch. The right choice depends on how complex and business-critical your site is.
Do website prices in Dubai include VAT?
Most agencies quote excluding 5% VAT. Always check whether a quote is VAT-inclusive before comparing.
